Art Ephemeral Activity

«We engaged in an Ephemeral Art Activity that we all participated in, which we named the «Garden of Memory» – a tribute to those we have lost due to the COVID-19 pandemic. During this activity, all participants had the opportunity to draw a tree or a bush in memory of someone who had succumbed to COVID-19. As we sketched, we played music to create a serene atmosphere.

It was a Moving experience to see all the people we had all known who lost their lives due to the virus. To conclude, we dedicated a moment to honor their memory, after which we respectfully disposed of the paper, symbolizing their peaceful journey.

This Ephemeral Art creation provided us with a emotional way to pay tribute to our lost loved relatives and friends.

It was a wonderful time spent together during which we had the opportunity to share and showcase all the project’s outcomes. On one hand, we accumulated valuable knowledge over the course of two years about the benefits of Ephemeral Art as a methodological tool for teaching in school education. All of this knowledge and the tools are included in the ‘METHODOLOGICAL GUIDE for Teaching Ephemeral Art in Schools‘ which we could share with all the assistants.

On the other hand, we had the opportunity to view all the projects created by the students, all of them displaying remarkable beauty and emotional depth. Most notably, it was incredibly moving to hear the students share their experiences during the development and creation of these projects and make an Ephemeral Art creation all together.

In the following months, we will close the project with the last details and we will upload to the website all the materials and the activities carried out. Also, there will be some training courses about the Ephemeral Art as a tool for the development of the 8 key competences.

We will keep you informed of all the latest news!!

STAY TUNED!!
